Karandeep B.

Karandeep B. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. In 2010, they worked as a Team Leader at Odeon & UCI Cinemas until 2012. They then went on to work for O2 (Telefónica UK), starting in 2013 as a Business Provisioning professional until 2015. At the same company, they also served as a Front Office Team Leader from 2015 to 2015. In 2015, they briefly worked as an HR Executive at Fiserv for two months. They returned to O2 (Telefónica UK) later that year and held positions such as Site Access Analyst, Disclosure Officer, Security Manager, and Vulnerability Risk Manager until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, Karandeep B. worked at Travelopia as the Group Information Security Lead and then as the Head of Information Security. Currently, they are employed as the Information Security Director at Travelopia. In 2021, they also became a member of the SANS CISO Network.

Karandeep B. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics with Marketing from the University of Hertfordshire between 2009 and 2012. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in 2020. They also obtained several CISSP Cert Prep certifications from LinkedIn in 2019, including Security Architecture and Engineering, Communication and Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Security Assessment and Testing, and Software Development Security. In 2017, they obtained the Advanced Vulnerability Management certification from Qualys. Additionally, Karandeep B. obtained various cybersecurity certifications from Lynda.com, edX, and FutureLearn between 2015 and 2017.
