Laura Fapohunda

Laura Fapohunda has a diverse work experience in legal and compliance roles. Laura started their career as a Licensing Coordinator at Sanctuary Records Group, where they coordinated licensing deals for music albums and DVDs. Following that, they worked as a Legal & Business Affairs Assistant at PlayStation, providing paralegal support and assisting with commercial agreements and IP enforcement. Laura then joined Quantanite as a Legal & Compliance Manager, leading legal negotiations and managing GDPR compliance. Laura later joined adam (HTT) as the Head of Legal & Compliance and Data Protection Officer, responsible for driving commercial success and governance. Currently, Laura is serving as the Head of Risk & Legal Compliance and Group Data Protection Officer at Travelopia, implementing compliance management systems to ensure regulatory adherence.

Laura Fapohunda has a diverse education history. Laura obtained a CILEx Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice from the University of Westminster in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a BA (Hons) in Interactive Media Production from Bournemouth University between 2002 and 2005. Laura completed their secondary education at Northampton School for Girls from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, Laura has certifications in Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
