Sam Seward

Sam started in travel as an entrepreneur and business owner, establishing his own sports, education, and event travel brands in 2000. In 2010 his business was acquired by TUI Travel plc, at which time Sam began one of a series of different portfolio roles which included sports travel, festival travel, skiing, educational travel, and gap year breaks. From 2014 to 2018 Sam lead TUI’s sports travel and events businesses. Since 2018 Sam has been Managing Director at Exodus Travels and now leads Travelopia’s global Adventure portfolio.

As a keen rugby fan and former player, Sam has toured the globe watching and playing the sport. Since middle-age and the arrival of his 2 sons enforced retirement from rugby; cooking, running, and cycling are Sam’s latest passions.

Italy, Patagonia, and Nepal’s Annapurna are among his favorite destinations for all of the above.
