Steve 'Buzz' Pearce

Steve 'Buzz' Pearce has held various leadership positions in design and product development throughout their career. Steve 'Buzz' is currently serving as the VP Design at TravelPerk since September 2022. Prior to this, they were a Founding Partner at Future London Academy, where they helped create the curriculum for the Executive programme and taught some modules.

Steve 'Buzz' also served as the VP Design at Checkout.com from August 2020 to February 2022, where they built a human-centered design team. Before that, they were the Head of Design & Product at Huma, where they played a crucial role in creating a new product for remote patient monitoring during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Steve 'Buzz' Pearce has extensive experience in the travel industry, having worked as the Global Design Director at Skyscanner from December 2015 to October 2019. In this role, they led a team of designers, researchers, and copywriters, and was responsible for driving the company's mission, vision, and design strategy.

Steve 'Buzz' has also held significant positions at Microsoft and Skype, where they served as the Principal Design Director for Skype products and the Design Principal for various platforms. Additionally, they have been involved in industry organizations such as Design Council and Design Business Association (DBA).
