Chad Tibor

Chad Tibor has extensive work experience, starting with their current role as Vice President of Global Business Development at Travelport since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as Vice President and General Manager Airlines, Americas at cargo.one from March 2021 to January 2023.

Chad also has a long history with Sabre Corporation, where they held various leadership positions. Chad served as Vice President and Regional General Manager, overseeing the company's largest and most strategic account, American Airlines, from January 2019 to December 2020. Chad was also Vice President of Sales for the Americas, Air Distribution, responsible for managing revenues and customer support from an entire line-of-business. Chad's earlier roles at Sabre Corporation include Managing Director of Global Distribution for Land, Ground, and Sea, Director of Business Development, and Principal Strategic Analyst.

Before joining Sabre Corporation, Chad worked at Rocket Software (formerly OpenConnect) as Lead Software Developer & Sales Engineer from 1998 to 2002. Chad also had a brief role as Sr. Engineer & Product Architect at Iris Labs in 2001. Chad's career began as an Electrical and Software Engineer at Texas Instruments, later Raytheon, from 1996 to 1998.

Throughout their career, Chad has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, develop go-to-market strategies, and drive growth. Chad has a diverse set of skills and experience in both technical and executive roles.

Chad Tibor holds an MBA degree in Finance and Strategy from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, which they earned from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a MSEE degree in Signal Processing from The University of Texas at Arlington between 1996 and 1999. Chad began their education at Texas Tech University in 1991 and completed their BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering in 1996.
