Monique Lalonde

Monique Lalonde has a diverse and extensive work experience in the travel industry. Monique currently holds the position of Director of Strategic Partnerships at TRAVELSAVERS since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Supplier Relations at The Affluent Traveler Collection starting in May 2021. From 2019 to 2021, they held the role of Director of Agent@Home at Transat Distribution Canada Inc.

Monique also has a long history with Air Canada Vacations, where they worked from 2011 to 2019. Monique held the position of General Manager of Sales for National Accounts and Ontario during this time.

Before joining Air Canada Vacations, Monique worked as a National Sales Manager for Discover the World Marketing, representing Almond Resorts in Barbados and St. Lucia from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they were a Product Buyer at itravel2000 from 2008 to 2009.

Monique began their career in sales management at Sunquest Vacations, where they worked from 1991 to 2002. Monique also held positions at Radisson Hotels as a Corporate Sales Manager from 2006 to 2008, and at American Express Travel Network in business development from 2003 to 2005.

Monique Lalonde completed a course on improving negotiation skills at Concordia University until 2013. Monique also took a course on leadership in times of change at the same university, which they completed in 2012. In 1988 and 1989, Monique attended the Travel Training Career Centre, where they studied travel and tourism.
