Juan Pablo Lafosse

Juan Pablo Lafosse is the CEO of TravelX, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, they were an investor partner at YAVU Ventures from January 2020 to January 2022. Before that, they were the CEO and founder of Almundo from June 2013 to October 2020.

Lafosse has built an impressive resume in the travel industry. Juan has been responsible for developing a world-class travel tech platform from scratch and expanding company operations to Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia. Juan has also set up IT development hubs in Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, and Medellin. In addition, Lafosse successfully led a rebranding project that included marketing multi-award winning campaigns. Thanks to their efforts, Almundo was able to reach the highest industry NPS.

Juan Pablo Lafosse has a degree in Turismo from Universidad del Salvador, and a degree in Letras from the University of Buenos Aires. Juan also has an Executive Program in Innovation from Singularity University, and has completed the Kaszek innovation and leadership program at Stanford University.
