María Montserrat Patiño

María Montserrat Patiño has worked in the IT security field since 2011. María Montserrat began their career at Deloitte Argentina as an IT Security Consultant and Ethical Hacker/Pentester, where they conducted external and internal network assessments, as well as web application vulnerability assessments. In 2016, they moved to Autopistas Urbanas S.A. (AUSA) as a Security Specialist, where they continued to do external and internal network assessments, as well as web application vulnerability assessments. In 2017, they joined BASE4 Security as a Project Leader and Pentester Sr. In 2019, they moved to Claro Argentina as a Seguridad de Aplicaciones, where they were responsible for conducting security tests on applications, developing security standards and procedures for applications and services, and providing security recommendations for developments. In 2020, they joined Banco Galicia as a Cyber Security Researcher. In 2021, they moved to Tiendanube as an Application Security Engineer. Currently, they are a Security Engineer at TravelX.

María Montserrat Patiño has an education history that includes an Information System Engineer degree from the Universidad Abierta Interamericana, which they obtained between 2011 and 2018. María Montserrat then completed a Diplomatura en Seguridad de la Información from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in 2020. In 2019, they earned a Licenciatura en Gestion Ambiental from UADE. Currently, they are pursuing a Licenciatura en Ciberseguridad from the Universidad de Palermo, which they are expected to complete in 2025. Additionally, María has obtained certifications in CEH from the EC-Council in 2013 and AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE) from AccessData in 2013.
