Emily Hammer

Emily Hammer has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Emily has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Emily's most recent position was as an Associate Director of Patient Experience & Support Services at Travere Therapeutics since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Patient Services Manager and Senior Manager of Patient Experience & Support Services at the same company.

Before joining Travere Therapeutics, Emily worked at Biogen from 2016 to 2019, where they served as a Field Force Trainer, Family Access Manager for Rare Disease, and Rare Disease Marketing-Thought Leader Liaison. Emily also had experience at Aegerion Pharmaceuticals as a Patient Education Manager from 2015 to 2016.

Emily's earliest work experience in the healthcare industry includes roles at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, Proherant, Children's Hospital Colorado, and American Mobile Healthcare. These positions involved providing direct patient care, education, triage, and coordination of care for patients with various diseases and diagnoses. Emily also served as a Nurse Educator and Resource Nurse during their time at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego.

Emily Hammer earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they attended from 1997 to 2001.
