Carmel Williams

Carmel Williams is a Senior Counsel at Travers Smith, having joined the pensions team in October 2014. With extensive experience in advising trustees and sponsors of occupational pension schemes, Carmel's expertise covers a variety of matters including buy-ins and buy-outs, funding, and governance. Prior to this role, Carmel served as a Senior Associate in Pensions at Trowers & Hamlins from September 2012 to September 2014, where involvement included diverse areas such as Employment and Corporate law. Earlier experience includes a position as a paralegal at Sacker & Partners LLP in 2012. Carmel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics from the University of Warwick, completed at Kaplan Law School.
