Bruce Wallis has extensive experience in the culinary field, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Food Service and Chef at The Leelanau School since October 2017. In addition to this role, Bruce has been a contributing columnist for the Traverse City Record-Eagle since April 2018. Previous positions include Chef De Cuisine at Harvest TC and At Sara's Table/Chester Creek Cafe, where responsibilities encompassed menu and recipe development, personnel management, and back-of-house operations. Bruce has also held various roles, such as Chef Manager at Duluth News Tribune, Adjunct Faculty at Lake Superior College, and Food Service Director at Chester Creek Cafe. Education includes an Associate of Arts in Culinary Arts from Fox Valley Technical College and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Michigan University.
