Robert Herzog

Robert Herzog is the Head of Localization at Travian Games. Robert has been with the company for 11 years and 6 months, and has held various positions during that time, including Head of Localisation & Writing, Head of Localisation, Senior Localisation Project Manager, Localisation Project Manager. In their current role, they are responsible for managing 1 additional direct report and 44 active freelancers. Robert also oversees the planning and coordination of localisation projects, creates new workflows and procedures for localisation, establishes new guidelines for the internationalisation of the company’s portfolio, and is the person of contact for the internationalisation of all products. Prior to joining Travian Games, Robert worked as a Translator / Localisation Specialist / Game Master at Gala Networks Europe Ltd. for 1 year and 4 months, and as a Freelance Translator for 4 years and 8 months. Robert also worked as a German Localisation Manager at France Telecom / GOA for 2 years and 4 months. In addition to their professional experience, Robert has also volunteered with Mystics Network for 2 years and 3 months.

Robert Herzog has a Localization Project Management Certification from The Localization Institute, as well as a Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - Grade A.
