Robert Valenzuela, P.E., CFM, currently serves as the Director of Public Works - Transportation and Natural Resources for Travis County since July 2025. Prior to this role, Robert Valenzuela held various positions at the City of Sugar Land, TX from December 2009 to July 2025, including Assistant City Manager, Executive Director of Public and Neighborhood Services, Director of Public Works, and Assistant City Engineer. Robert Valenzuela's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President and Project Manager at Crannell, Crannell & Martin Engineering from May 2000 to December 2009. Robert Valenzuela holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Service & Administration at Texas A&M University's Bush School of Government and Public Service, expected to be completed in May 2026.
