Shwetha Shankar

VP, Customer Success at Tray.io

Shwetha Shankar is the current Vice President of Customer Success at Tray.io. Prior to this, they were a Research Consultant at The World Bank from January 2011 to December 2011, developing datasets for the analysis of the relationship between exports, GDP, and employment across various industrial clusters globally. From August 2010 to March 2021, they were the Vice President & General Manager of Professional Services, Customer Success & Enablement at Medallia, where they were responsible for retention, expansion, customer satisfaction, and program delivery for the mid-market business. Shwetha also rebuilt the global partner success team and developed the partner journey map and enablement support to accelerate partner onboarding. In addition, they built the Education Services business by creating online and in-classroom offerings to support customers in adopting and increasing product usage. Finally, they were responsible for global Professional Services & Customer Success enablement, creating learning curriculum and accountability mechanisms.

Shwetha Shankar has a MA in International Policy Studies from Stanford University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance from The University of Auckland.

They are on a team with Alistair Russell - Co-Founder & CTO, Brian Howie - SVP, WW Sales, and Deborah Silberman - VP, Global Business Operations. Shwetha Shankar reports to Richard Waldron, Co-Founder & CEO.
