Christian McKee

OCS Foundation Engineer at Traylor Bros

Christian McKee has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in engineering and construction. Christian started their career in 2010, working as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor for the City of Cedar Rapids Aquatics. In 2012, they transitioned to being a Swim Coach for Cedar Rapids Aquatics.

In 2016, Christian joined the Iowa Department of Transportation as a QC Inspector, where they worked until 2018. During this time, they gained experience in quality control inspection.

In 2018, they joined HENSEL PHELPS as a Field Engineer for a short period of time.

In 2019, Christian joined Traylor Bros., Inc. as a Field Engineer. Christian worked as a Precast Yard Segmental Engineer on the HART AGS project, where they managed various tasks related to bed casting and repairs. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Structures Drainage Engineer, responsible for procurement and cost estimation. Later, they transitioned to roles including Track Engineer, Track Superintendent, and OCS Foundation Engineer, where they were involved in activities such as rail alignment, installation of contact rail, and submittals.

Christian's work experience demonstrates their expertise in engineering, construction, project management, and quality control.

Christian McKee attended Iowa State University from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
