Maia Hilsabeck

Maia Hilsabeck, PhD, is a toxicologist currently employed at TRC Companies, Inc. since August 2024, specializing in toxicology, exposure assessment, and industrial hygiene, with a focus on asbestos, nitrosamines, cosmetic talc, and environmental toxicology. Prior to this role, Maia worked as a consultant at Paustenbach and Associates from May 2023 to August 2024. Between August 2018 and May 2023, Maia served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, conducting research on the impacts of acetaminophen, NSAIDs, and endocrine-disrupting chemicals on male reproduction. Maia's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Southern California and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biosciences and Bioengineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
