Rebecca Wong

Rebecca Wong is a Distribution Engineer I at TRC Companies, Inc. since June 2023, previously serving as a Distribution Engineering Intern. In August 2023, Rebecca also took on the role of ENG15 Tutor at UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering, facilitating class discussions and supporting first-year engineering students. Rebecca's extensive experience includes contributions as a Publications and Design Intern at IDEA Engineering Student Center, where various communication materials were created, and as an electrical engineer for SEDS UCSD, where safe testing for bipropellant rocket engines was conducted. Additionally, leadership roles included Director of Internal Affairs and SEDSxFem Co-Lead, focusing on organizational engagement and mentorship for female engineers. Teaching experience includes serving as a Summer School Instructor, developing programming curricula for middle school students. Rebecca's academic journey at UC San Diego is culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, anticipated in 2024.
