Sean F. Scanlan

SVP, Marketing & Medical Education at Treace

Mr. Scanlan has over 14 years of orthopaedic research and product development experience. Prior to joining Treace Medical Concepts, Inc., Mr. Scanlan spent 3 years in Research & Development at Smith & Nephew’s Advanced Surgical Devices division focused on product development and early-stage technology assessment. Prior to this, he led a clinical research study at Stanford University with the Orthopaedic Surgery and Engineering departments, and served as a consultant for an early-stage orthopaedics start-up company, Moximed Inc. Mr. Scanlan holds a BS in Engineering Science (Biomechanics) from University of Florida, and an MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Biomechanical Engineering division) from Stanford University.
