Tom Franzen

Tom Franzen has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as County Treasurer and Director of Treasury, Taxation & Vehicles for Johnson County, KS Government since February 1999, where responsibilities include overseeing a newly established Land Records department. Previous roles include Finance Director and Chief Deputy Treasurer at Johnson County, Finance Director at Tie Communications, and funding analyst at Sprint, where cash management was a key focus. Additionally, Tom served as a Senior Cash Management Consultant at Ernst & Young. Tom holds a B.S. in Finance from Kansas State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Kansas - Graduate School of Business.
