Dino Masic is a Scientific Research Advisor at TREAT-NMD, starting in December 2023. Prior to this role, Dino served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Newcastle University from February 2017 to October 2023, and was a Ph.D. student at the same institution from September 2011 to June 2016, focusing on the genetic and functional characterization of B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (BCP-ALL) patients. Dino has also contributed to the research field as a Ph.D. student at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for six months in 2014, where work continued on the same BCP-ALL project while securing travel grants. Earlier experiences include serving as a Research Assistant in Newcastle University's Leukaemia Research Cytogenetics Group from February 2009 to March 2011 and volunteering as a student in 2007. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Medical and Molecular Biosciences from Newcastle University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Northumbria University.
