Alankar Sharan

Alankar Sharan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and analytics. Alankar is currently working at Tredence Inc. as a Senior Director of Data Engineering. Prior to that, they held roles such as Director and Senior Manager of Data Engineering at the same company.

Before joining Tredence Inc., Alankar worked at IBM as a Product Owner.

Alankar also has a significant tenure at Deloitte, where they started as a Consultant and progressed to become a Manager of Data Analytics. At Deloitte, they managed various projects, including implementing a Data Analytics Platform and leading teams for Big Data Modernization solutions.

Their career began at Accenture Services as a Software Engineer, where their responsibilities included designing and developing large scale Data Warehouses and Oracle BI reports. Alankar's experience also included performance tuning to optimize report execution.

Alankar Sharan completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela from 2004 to 2008. In addition, they obtained certifications in AWS, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in July 2020.
