Diogo Mateus

Diogo Mateus is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and a proven track record in various technology-driven startups. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer at StreamElements since January 2022, Diogo utilizes technologies such as Go, Node, and Kubernetes to enhance engagement tools for content creators. Prior to this role, Diogo contributed at GetGround as a Senior Backend Engineer, where responsibilities included developing a marketplace for property investments, advocating for best practices, and participating in recruitment activities. Previous positions include Lead Backend Developer at Kamion LLC, where Diogo played a pivotal role in the company's acquisition by Loadsmart, and Co-Founder of Magnar, a food delivery service in Lisbon. Diogo began their career as an iOS Developer at Ryanair, successfully launching a high-performing app, and has further experience in mobile development with WorldIT. Diogo holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Science and Technology at the New University of Lisbon.
