Pauline Morand has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. Pauline began their career as a Laboratory Technician at Laboratoire Hayet, where they conducted medical laboratory tests and assisted in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

In 2008, they joined CNRS as an Assistant Ingenieur, where they worked for five years as a Cellular and Molecular Biology Research Assistant Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for engineering trypanosome mutants to gain a better understanding of the parasite's metabolism.

In 2013, Morand joined the University of California, Los Angeles as a Staff Research Associate II. Pauline served as a Laboratory Manager and worked on collaborative projects focused on lipid and bile acids metabolism. Pauline also developed methods to produce adenoviruses and adeno-associated viruses for research studies.

Morand continued their research career at Université de Bordeaux in 2020, where they worked as an Engineer in the MFP Lab. Pauline developed a co-culture protocol between mammalian adipocytes and the bloodstream form of T. brucei to investigate metabolic interactions between the two cell types.

Most recently, Morand joined TreeFrog Therapeutics in 2021 as a Senior R&D Laboratory Technician. Pauline is currently a Research Engineer, utilizing their expertise to contribute to the company's research efforts.

Pauline Morand pursued their education in the field of science, specifically focusing on microbiology, immunology, and biotechnology. In 2007, they attended the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour and completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology by 2008. Continuing their academic journey, Pauline enrolled at the Université de Bordeaux in 2021, where they are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology, expected to be completed in 2022.
