From 2009 to 2013, Kristina worked as a Contributing Writer for Skirts and Scuffs, where they enforced editing standards and published articles under strict deadlines. Kristina also served as a media representative at live race events and conducted interviews with high-profile athletes. In 2011, Kristina worked as a Contributing Writer for TicketNetwork, where they published SEO-friendly articles and increased coverage of NASCAR and IndyCar news. Kristina also served as a Marketing and Public Relations Consultant for Pit Road Pizza & Italian Eatery, where they developed a rebranding plan and increased visibility on social media platforms. Since 2012, Kristina has been working at Treehouse Marketing as a Content Project Manager and Web Content Specialist, where they manage content inventory, conducts keyword research, and maintains web content for home improvement contractors across various industries.
Kristina McGovern obtained their high school diploma from John F. Kennedy High School between 2001 and 2005. Kristina then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Hartford, graduating between 2005 and 2009. In 2018, Kristina also earned a Content Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy.
