Grace Silva

Grace Silva has a strong background in computational biology and bioinformatics. Grace is currently working as the Director of Computational Biology at Treeline Biosciences, a position they started in January 2022. Prior to this, Grace worked as the Associate Director of Computational Biology at Tessera Therapeutics from October 2020 to January 2022.

Before their role at Tessera, Grace held various positions at Blueprint Medicines. Grace started as a Scientist in Computational Biology in November 2015 and eventually became a Senior Scientist and then Scientist II in the same department. Their tenure at Blueprint Medicines ended in October 2020.

Grace's early career includes research positions as a Graduate Research Assistant/Post-doc in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2009 to July 2015. Grace Silva completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, from 2005 to 2009. Grace then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing it from 2009 to 2015.
