Tribhuwan Yadav, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of molecular biology and genetics. Tribhuwan is currently working as a Sr. Scientist in Drug Discovery Biology at Treeline Biosciences since 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Instructor in Medicine and Faculty member at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital from 2021 to 2022, where their research focused on the analysis of the Alternative Lengthening of Telomeres (ALT) pathway in cancer and the therapeutic strategies to eliminate cancers engaging this pathway.
From 2015 to 2021, Tribhuwan worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Mass General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, conducting research on the role of R loops in the regulation of genomic instability and cancer. Their work also involved studying the mechanism of RTEL1 helices in the regulation of homology repair using purified proteins, modifications on proteins, and biochemical assays.
Tribhuwan's earlier experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, School of Medicine, Yale University, where they investigated the molecular understanding of the DNA damage response pathway and the role of RAD54 translocase and RTEL1 helices in the regulation of DNA repair pathways.
Tribhuwan has also obtained their Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, where they conducted research on the molecular mechanism of genetic and plasmid transformation in Bacillus subtilis. Through biochemical, biophysical, and genetic studies, Tribhuwan uncovered pathways and associated proteins involved in the successful acquisition and protection of foreign genetic material in bacterial cells, contributing to the understanding of divergence, evolution, and multiple drug resistance.
Tribhuwan Yadav, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Banaras Hindu University. Tribhuwan then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Life Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in India.
Following their master's degree, Tribhuwan completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbial biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Molecular biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), Spain.
After obtaining their Ph.D., Tribhuwan obtained additional certifications, including the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) from Yale University and the Radiation Safety course from Yale University/Massachusetts General Hospital.
Currently, Tribhuwan is engaged in a Postdoc program at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital, specializing in Oncology and Cancer Biology.
