Red Squirrel Project Manager at Trees for Life

Sarah Woodfin is an experienced conservation professional currently serving as the Red Squirrel Project Manager at Trees for Life since March 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Monitoring and Control Officer for the Scottish Wildlife Trust, overseeing the populations of Red and Grey Squirrels in North East Scotland from April 2018 to March 2023. Sarah has also contributed as a Squirrel Survey Volunteer, Visitor Centre Volunteer, and Visitor Centre Intern, enhancing public engagement and education in wildlife conservation. Additional volunteer work includes roles with Cats Protection, RSPB, and North East Scotland Biological Records Centre, all focused on wildlife monitoring and management. Sarah holds a Master's Degree in Applied Ecology and Conservation from the University of East Anglia and a Bachelor's Degree in Ecological Sciences from The University of Edinburgh.
