VP Biz Dev, Sales & Marketing at Treetoscope

Gil Honigsman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gil currently holds the position of VP Biz Dev & Marketing at Treetoscope, where they play a significant role in revolutionizing precision irrigation through the development and deployment of IoT technology. Prior to this, they served as the Business Development and Operations Manager at miRobot from December 2019 to April 2022.

Gil also has a strong background in water technology, having worked at Booky Oren Global Water Technologies Ltd. as the Technology Scouting Director from July 2018 to December 2019, and as the Water Technology Scouting Manager from July 2015 to July 2018.

Before delving into the water technology sector, Gil gained experience in environmental and agricultural engineering at A.A.Engineers. Environmental and agricultural engineering, where they worked from April 2014 to July 2015. Additionally, they worked as a research assistant at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from June 2012 to July 2014.

In 2013, Gil completed a research internship at Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF), where they contributed to field trace gas measurement campaigns and conducted trace gas flux measurements.

Gil began their professional career as a Chemical Engineering assistant at IMI TAMI - Israel Chemical Research Center from February 2011 to June 2013.

Gil's work experience also includes a stint as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces from March 2004 to March 2009. Overall, Gil Honigsman's professional journey showcases their expertise in business development, operations management, technology scouting, agricultural engineering, research, and leadership.

Gil Honigsman attended Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology. In 2020, they enrolled in the Hoffman Kofman Foundation to pursue Leadership Development. Following this, in 2021, Gil Honigsman returned to Technion - Israel Institute of Technology to participate in the Director and CEO Training Course.
