Ann-Kathrin Rumpler has work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2008, they completed an apprenticeship in Hotel Management at Residenz am Festspielhaus. Ann-Kathrin then interned in Accounting and Taxation at Holler, Kippes & Partner, followed by a brief role as an Assistant to HR Management and Strategy at Metro Group (AG). In 2010, they joined Clarify as a Sales Executive and also worked at Residenz am Kuniberg in a management position. Ann-Kathrin continued their education with a role as a Work Student in HR Operations at METRO AG. In 2011, they were a Recruitment Consultant Europe/US Region at Project People. Returning to METRO AG, they became the Head of Marketing at Trei Real Estate GmbH in 2018. In 2020, they took a break for parental leave and returned to Trei Real Estate GmbH as a Marketing Manager.
Ann-Kathrin Rumpler earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Universität Duisburg-Essen, Standort Duisburg, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. In 2016 and 2017, they studied at IREBS Immobilien Akademie, specializing in Real Estate Asset Management and receiving a degree as a Real Estate Asset Manager. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they completed an apprenticeship in Hotel Management at Herwig-Blankertz-Berufskolleg, focusing on Hotel/Motel Administration/Management. Before their apprenticeship, they obtained their A-Level qualification from Georg Büchner Gymnasium from 2005 to 2008, with subjects including English, Social Science, Mathematics, and Music.

Trei Real Estate GmbH, a German real estate company with registered office in Düsseldorf, acquires, develops and manages customised and sustainable residential and retail properties. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Tengelmann Group, it focuses on real estate investments and developments in Germany, Poland and the United States within the framework of its long-term strategy. In addition to c. 1.3 billion euros in assets under management, Trei Real Estate GmbH has c. 1.9 billion euros worth of developments in the pipeline. In Poland, the company develops, raises and lets retail parks under the Vendo Park brand. Also active on Germany’s housing market, e. g. in Berlin, Trei currently develops residential quarters combined with commercial premises as well as student apartments under the Quartillion brand. The company’s residential activities outside Germany include development projects in Poland and in the United States.
