Alison Longworth

Alison Longworth has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the fields of coaching, sales, recreation, and events. Alison currently works as a JV Softball Coach at Mason City Schools and previously served as a Sales Manager at Trek Bicycle. Alison also has experience as an LCI at the League of American Bicyclists, an Instructor at the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, and a Recreation Coordinator II at the City of Greenbelt. Additionally, they have held positions such as Recreation and Special Events Superintendent at the City of Miamisburg, Recreation Leader at the Baltimore City Department of Recreation & Parks, and Sales Specialist at REI. Alison has also worked in various program coordinator and leadership roles at organizations like Playworks and Camp Chateaugay.

Alison Longworth has a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Administration with a minor in Music from Texas State University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. In 2015, they attended the MRPA Leadership Institute and received a Certificate of Completion in Municipal Recreation and Leadership. Alison has also obtained additional certifications including Fundamentals of Coaching from the National Federation of State High School Associations in February 2023, Indigenous Canada from Coursera in August 2021, League Cycling Instructor from the League of American Bicyclists in December 2015, Leave No Trace Trainer from the Leave No Trace Center For Outdoor Ethics in September 2015, and Certified Parks and Recreation Professional from the National Recreation and Park Association in May 2015.
