Matthew C. Gamache

Matthew C. Gamache is an experienced Firefighter/Paramedic with a diverse background in emergency medical services. Currently serving at Sycuan Fire Department since August 2017, Matthew also holds a position as a Paramedic with Rural/Metro Corporation since May 2016. As a Program Coordinator for Trek Medics International, Matthew contributes to global efforts aimed at improving prehospital and emergency care services in vulnerable communities. Additional experience includes serving as an EMT with First Aid Services of San Diego, Inc. since August 2011, delivering on-site medical care at various events, and previously working as an EMT with Care Ambulance from March 2006 to July 2009, which specialized in Critical Care Transport. Matthew holds two Associate's Degrees, one in Emergency Medical Technology – Paramedic from Southwestern College and another in Liberal Arts – Math and Science from Grossmont College.
