Susanna K. Tisa

Susanna Tisa, Executive Partner and Senior Advisory Board Member of Treliant, plays a key leadership role in all aspects of the company’s business and strategic operations. Throughout her 25-year career, Susanna has held executive leadership positions at major banks and financial institutions, industry consulting firms, and international development corporations. Susanna has successfully built trusted advisor relationships with Treliant’s clients by helping them navigate increasingly complex risk and regulatory compliance issues.

Prior to joining Treliant as its founding Managing Director, Susanna served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Freddie Mac, Vice President – Treasurer and Global Planning at Capital One Financial, and Vice President – Corporate Finance at First Interstate Bancorp. She began her career as a community banker in California, and later joined Kaplan Smith & Associates as a consultant to the savings and loan industry. With respect to international development, Susanna was Chief Financial Officer of the Development Gateway Foundation and Capital Strategy Advisor to global microfinance network FINCA International. She has also served as Treasurer for the National Association of Women Business Owners Greater DC Chapter and promotes Treliant’s efforts to support strong relationships between financial services companies and women business owners.

Susanna holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Toronto and a B.Commerce from McGill University in Montreal. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Cash Manager.
