Abdelrahman Ahmed's work experience begins with their role as a Software Engineer at Trella since April 2019. Prior to that, they founded Deer, an Open Source note-taking application that utilizes Electron, Node.js, React, Redux, and Travis for Continuous Integration (CI). Abdelrahman started Deer in November 2017 and it aims to be a free, user-friendly, secure, cross-platform, and multi-language application.

Before founding Deer, Abdelrahman worked as a Contributor at Mozilla from December 2014 to January 2020. During their time at Mozilla, they also served as a Google Summer of Code Student from April 2016 to August 2016.

Abdelrahman began their professional journey as an Enterprise Operations Intern at TE data in July 2014, where they worked until September 2014.

Abdelrahman Ahmed graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Cairo University. Abdelrahman attended the university from 2011 to 2016.
