Katie Ruiters

Katie Ruiters is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition and human resources management. Currently serving as Senior Manager and Global HR Business Partner at Trellix, Katie transitioned to this role following the acquisition of TunnelBear by McAfee, where Katie held the position of Human Resources Manager. Prior to that, Katie was Talent Acquisition Lead at VarageSale, successfully managing recruitment activities and fostering company culture. Additional experience includes roles at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, Rakuten Kobo Inc., TEKsystems, and GMR Marketing, which collectively highlight expertise in recruitment strategy, employee engagement, and policy development. Katie holds a BA in Social Sciences from McMaster University, an HR Certificate from Mohawk College, and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
