Tim Waibel

Tim Waibel is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on cyber threat services and digital forensics. Currently serving as Senior Manager and PCI Program Lead QSA at Trellix since January 2022, Tim has previously held significant positions, including Principal Consultant at EC-Council, where contributions to the Certified Ethical Hacker Practical Program were made, and as a Cyber Security and Forensics Specialist at Duke Energy Corporation. With a background that includes roles with PNC as Assistant Vice President for Cyber Defense, and as a sworn Detective for the Butler County Drug Task Force, Tim possesses expertise in digital investigations, forensic analysis, and law enforcement. Tim's educational credentials include a CISO Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University and ongoing studies for a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security and Information Assurance at Western Governors University.
