Kevin Latimer MBCS

Kevin Latimer MBCS has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries.

From 2000 to 2002, Kevin worked as a Webmaster for Channel Groups, where they were responsible for managing and maintaining websites.

In 2002, Kevin joined Tolent Construction Ltd as a Network Administrator, and later moved up to become the Network Manager. In this role, they implemented technology strategies and evolved the company's network and services to meet evolving needs. Kevin also built and developed IT Services offerings. Their main focus was on virtualization and storage networking using VMare ESXi on Dell and Fujitsu servers with EMC and Dell fibre channel, iSCSI, and SAS backends. Kevin worked at Tolent Construction Ltd for over 10 years until 2014.

After that, Kevin joined Nomad Digital as a Senior Systems Administrator from 2014 to 2015.

Finally, Kevin co-founded Trench Networks Limited in 2015 and served as the CEO/CTO. Trench Networks is a multi-award-winning innovator of unique Internet services for construction. Kevin designed and built the services at the cutting edge of innovation, ensuring super-fast speeds, data security, and ease of use for construction industry clients.

Kevin Latimer MBCS attended Cramlington High School from 1992 to 1997. Following this, they pursued higher education at Newcastle University from 1997 to 1999. Throughout their career, Kevin also obtained various certifications. In 2001, they earned an MCSE certification from Microsoft. In 2011, they achieved an ITIL v3 Foundation certification from ISEB and became a member of the British Computing Society from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. In the same year, Kevin also obtained a CCNA certification from Cisco and an RHCE certification from Red Hat. In 2012, they received an MCITP Enterprise Administrator certification from Microsoft, and in 2013 they acquired certifications including dCAA from Digium and CCDA from Cisco.
