Mads Aaroe Mathiesen is an experienced CEO and co-founder with a background in various industries. Mads Aaroe started their career at McKinsey & Company in 2005 as a Euro Academy member. Mads Aaroe then worked as a Management Consultant at Booz & Company in 2006 before joining the United States House of Representatives as a Congressional Fellow. In 2007, they became a Partner at Rainmaking. Mads Aaroe Mathiesen co-founded Spreaddo in 2012, which was later acquired by Realm.io. In 2013, they founded Trendsales, Denmark's largest transactional consumer marketplace for secondhand items. Mads Aaroe also co-founded Tradono, a leading marketplace for secondhand fashion and lifestyle items. In 2008, they joined able_® as a CEO, where they accelerated and turned around the business to achieve over €10 million in revenue. Mads Aaroe also served on the Board of Directors at able_® from 2011 to 2017. Mads Aaroe Mathiesen was a member of the Board at the Museum of Contemporary Art from 2018 to 2022.

Mads Aaroe Mathiesen completed a Master's in Public Administration (MPA) from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2005 to 2007. During the same period, they also pursued an MPA from Sciences Po.
