Laura Bennison

Laura Bennison has extensive experience in the retail industry, with a career spanning over 30 years. Laura began their career at Gap Inc. in 1992, where they held the role of Sr. Director DMM for a decade. Laura then joined Levi Strauss & Co. as Sr. Director Merchandising from 2002 to 2006. Laura subsequently worked as Division Manager at L Brands' Victoria's Secret for a year before founding Dentex Sourcing Inc. in 2007, where they served as Founder and President until 2010. Laura then joined Nordstrom as Vice President General Manager from 2010 to 2014. Laura continued their career at Toys R Us Babies R Us as Vice President Merchandising & Product Development from 2014 to 2018. Laura then joined Macy's as Vice President of Merchandising & Global Sourcing from 2019 to 2020. Following that, Laura worked at Qurate Retail Group in various executive roles, including Executive Leader of New Business Development, and Executive of Design, Development & Global Sourcing for QVC/HSN. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Merchandising & Product Development at Trendspot Inc. starting in 2022. Throughout their career, Laura has consistently demonstrated leadership and expertise in merchandising, product development, and global sourcing.

Laura Bennison has a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Business Finance and Merchandising from Fordham Marymount. Laura also completed a Merchandising Certificate as an International Exchange Student at the London College of Fashion. Additionally, Laura attended New York University's Stern School of Business, although no specific degree or field of study was provided.
