Rocío López

Rockie C. is an experienced Program Manager at Lonza, overseeing multidisciplinary teams for clinical manufacturing of biologics since March 2023, and fostering global collaborations in complex research environments. Previously, Rockie served as Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., from June 2021 to March 2023, leading the development and validation of genomics-based diagnostics products and contributing to significant peer-reviewed publications in biomarker discovery. Rockie has also held roles as Senior Scientist and Scientist II at Senti Biosciences, where leadership in gene therapy initiatives was prominent, and has a background as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles. Rockie started a professional career as an Intern Analyst at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures, having earned a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
