István Hartung

István Hartung is the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and VP of Engineering at Tresorit. Responsible for leading and managing all Engineering teams developing Tresorit's product portfolio, István oversees day-to-day operations and strategic planning. Previously, István worked as a Team Lead and Software Engineer, specializing in backend development using Java, C#, AWS, and Azure. With a PhD in Cloud Computing from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, István also has experience as a PhD student, Assistant in Research, and Assistant Lecturer in the fields of distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and cloud computing. István is skilled in teaching C++ development, Java programming, and software project courses.
