Shaundre Cloete

Shaundre Cloete is an accomplished metallurgical engineer with a diverse background in the mining and processing sectors. Currently serving as a Plant Metallurgist at Rosh Pinah Zinc since April 2023, Shaundre previously held positions as a Metallurgical Engineer at Weir Minerals and a Process Engineer at Grupo Nueva Pescanova, where implementation of LEAN manufacturing and quality maximization were key responsibilities. Experience also includes work at Lewcor, focusing on heavy machinery utilization and production reporting, and internships at Rosh Pinah Zinc Corporation and Namdeb, contributing to metallurgical operations and quality control. Educational qualifications include an Honors Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, an Advanced Diploma in Management, and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering.
