Plant & Equipment Manager at Trevi

Romeo Macchini has extensive experience in the engineering sector, currently serving as Plant & Equipment Manager, Technical Area Manager, and Project Team Leader at Trevi S.p.A. since August 2013. In this role, Romeo coordinates the TTMJ project under the European Horizon 2020 program, focusing on the development of specialized equipment for milled joints of structural diaphragm walls, enhancing joint quality while achieving significant time and material savings. Prior to this, Romeo held positions as Equipment Engineer and Junior Technical Advisor at CIRI Energia e Ambiente - Università di Bologna, and completed a research assignment at The Wolfson Center for Bulk Solids Handling Technology. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, earned between 2007 and 2012.
