Ian Taylor has a wealth of experience in the field of computational biology. Ian began their career in 2010 as a FlowDx Grant Manager for Treestar, Inc. Ian then moved to Tree Star, Inc. in the same year, where they took on the roles of FlowDx Project Manager and Tech Support. In 2014, they joined FlowJo, LLC as Director of Product Innovation and Tech Support Specialist. In 2017, they moved to BD as Director of Product Innovation. Finally, in 2020, they joined TRexBio as Director of Computational Biology, where they are responsible for managing a team of bioinformaticians, collaborating with biologists and immunologists, and discovering and validating novel drug targets.
Ian Taylor obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Biochemistry from Southern Oregon University between 2004 and 2010. Ian also holds certifications from the University of Virginia, including Advanced Business Strategy (obtained April 2018) and Foundations of Business Strategy (obtained February 2018). Additionally, they have a UCDavis Basic Flow Cytometry Course certification.
