Gary Fixler's work experience includes positions at various companies in the animation and gaming industry. Gary is currently working at Treyarch as a Technical Animation Specialist since January 2021. Previously, they worked at Visual Concepts as a Technical Artist from May 2019 to September 2020. Gary also held a role as a Technical Artist at Disney Research from August 2018 to November 2018. Prior to that, they were the Lead Technical Animator at Seismic Games from August 2016 to April 2017. Gary's experience also includes working at Disney Interactive Media Group as an Animation Technical Director from May 2010 to March 2016, where they were involved in rigging characters for online and mobile games. Before that, they worked at Savage Entertainment, LLC as a Senior Animator from May 2005 to February 2011, where they focused on character animation rigs and MEL scripting. Gary also worked as a Character TD at NC Soft from May 2004 to May 2005 and as an Animator at Electronic Arts (EA) from October 2003 to May 2004. Gary began their career as an Animator at Brain Zoo Studios from June 2002 to September 2002.
From 1995 to 2001, Gary Fixler attended Ringling College of Art and Design. During this time, they pursued a B.A. in Computer Animation with a minor in Photography. Gary'sstudies primarily focused on 2D traditional animation, 2D and 3D computer animation, as well as photography.
