Clive Millar

Clive Millar joins Trez Capital as Vice President, Global Head of Asset Management. In this role, he will be responsible for proactively monitoring the performance of Trez Capital’s Canadian and U.S. portfolios, including construction, bridge loans and equity investments, from initial funding and investment through to repayment. Clive and his team will also be responsible for reviewing and approving loan and investment funding advances throughout the lifecycle of underlying projects.

Clive joins Trez Capital from BentallGreenOak, where he worked as the Vice President, Portfolio Management. Prior to this, he worked as Hungerford Properties’ Senior Director, Head of Asset Management, and as CBRE’s Director of Financial Analysis on the National Investment Team in Toronto. He has led the asset strategy and business plan execution for over $4 billion with a focus on standard asset classes, including ground-up development and asset repositioning, as well as alternative real estate classes, including self-storage, life sciences and data centres. Overall, he brings nearly 20 years of progressive experience in various senior roles working with major institutional capital, pension funds, REITs, and private investors with extensive asset management experience.

Clive earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Trent University in Ontario. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
