Hani Sbaiti

Hani joined Trez Capital in 2022 as Vice President, Origination where he is focused on assisting investors with their real estate financing needs by building meaningful relationships with investors and their advisors.

Prior to this role, Hani worked overseas as a commercial engineer. He transitioned to the financial services industry in 2015 from the Bank of Montreal’s (BMO) Commercial Banking Group. During his time at BMO, Hani managed a portfolio of clients across industries in the mid-market space and was consistently recognized as one of the group’s top performers in Canada.

Hani earned a Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering degree, from the American University of Beirut and a Master of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business, he also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA).
