Julia Renaud has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Julia is currently working at the Translational Research Institute Australia as the Research Engagement & Impact Manager, responsible for managing research engagement and impact initiatives. Prior to this, they worked as the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager at the same institute.

Julia's previous role was as the Communications Manager at the Emergency Medicine Foundation (EMF), where they were responsible for the communication and marketing activities of the organization. Julia also worked as the Director at Strategique Pty Ltd, a consultancy specializing in communication and marketing solutions for organizations in scientific, technical, or research-based sectors.

Prior to that, Julia worked as the Corporate Development Manager at UniQuest, Australia's leading university commercialization group. In this role, they managed corporate development functions including communication, public relations, marketing, and events.

Julia also worked as the Communication Manager at the Leukaemia Foundation, where they developed corporate and marketing collateral, managed stakeholder communications, media relations, and coordinated celebrities associated with the organization.

Julia's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research and as a Research Officer at CSIRO.

Julia Renaud began their education at the University of Sydney in 1992, where they pursued a degree in Agricultural Science with a focus on Genetics. Julia successfully completed their studies in 1995. Later, in 1997, Julia enrolled at The University of Queensland, where they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism. The program lasted until 1998.
