David Sterkel

David Sterkel has over 25 years of work experience in the banking industry. David started their career at Bank of America as a Personal Banker and later worked at Patelco Credit Union as a Senior Member Service Officer/Acting Manager. David also worked at SAFE Credit Union as a Branch Supervisor and at Union Bank of California as a Service Staff Officer. David then joined Washington Mutual as a Senior Bank Fraud Investigator before moving to American River College, where they served on the Board of Directors. Currently, they are working at Tri Counties Bank, where they have held various positions, including VP, Director Enterprise Project Management Office and VP Project Admin Manager. Throughout their career, David has excelled in project management, customer service, and leadership roles.

David Sterkel attended the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business from 2021 to 2023, where they pursued a degree in Executive Leadership with a focus on Banking and Financial Support Services. David also enrolled in the Pacific Coast Banking School until 2023, specializing in Bank Management and Executive Leadership. In 1999, David Sterkel obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from National University, majoring in Business Administration and Management. David additionally holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, achieved in 2015.
