Greg Gehlmann

Greg Gehlmann is the SVP & General Counsel at Tri Counties Bank. Greg has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer, including 8.5 years as the head of legal department at a publicly traded financial institution.

Gehlmann led the successful due diligence and acquisition of three FDIC troubled institutions in 2009, which nearly doubled the size of the company. Greg also guided the company through major legislative and regulatory changes, such as the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act, American Recovery and Investment Act, and Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

In addition to their role as General Counsel, Gehlmann also served as the Chief Risk Officer and Customer Information Security Officer during their tenure at First Financial Bancorp. Greg was instrumental in flattening the organization by reducing the line of sight of the entire legal group and reorganizing the department into client-centric teams.

Gehlmann is a graduate of Harvard Law School and has been recognized as a top lawyer by various publications.

Greg Gehlmann attended the University of Dayton for their BA in Political Science. Then, they attended The Ohio State University for their MA in Political Science. Lastly, they attended The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law for their JD in law.
