Dr. Jonathan Douglas, PMP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSOM, GCFA, GPEN

Dr. Jonathan Douglas, PMP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSOM, GCFA, GPEN has extensive experience in the Information Technology field. From 2000 to 2018, they held various positions in different companies. In 2000, they were an Enterprise Systems Administrator at Drury University. In 2004, they were a Senior Systems Engineer (Consultant at Top 150 MSP) at ISG Technology, Inc. From 2005 to 2014, they were a Systems Administration Supervisor at Associated Electric Cooperative. During this time, they were responsible for the complete overhaul of IT Systems infrastructure and developed technical teams to manage power plants and electric grid. In 2011, they were a Course Developer / Online Instructor at Kaplan University. From 2014 to 2018, they were an Information Technology Manager at Kirkconnell Enterprises Ltd. During this time, they implemented 2 new HP 3PAR 7200c SAN Storage systems and HP BladeSystem c7000 hardware. Finally, from 2018 to the present, they have been the Director of IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity at Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. During this time, they developed and implemented the Cyber Security Incident Response Plan (CSIRP) and lead the implementation of Dell Apex Cloud for offsite data backup and restoration for DR.

Dr. Jonathan Douglas has a diverse education history, beginning with an Associate of Arts in Computer Science from Mineral Area College in 1997-1998. Dr. Jonathan then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Northern Michigan University in 1999-2000. In 2002-2004, they earned a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from University of Phoenix. Dr. Jonathan then completed a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership, Information Systems and Technology from University of Phoenix in 2006-2010. In 2016-2017, they attended Stanford University's Center for Professional Development and obtained an Advanced Computer Security certification. Additionally, Dr. Jonathan Douglas has obtained several certifications from a variety of institutions, including Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Black Hat, Proofpoint Inc., VMware, AXELOS Global Best Practice, GIAC Certifications, Project Management Institute, and Palo Alto Networks.
